Freddie Mac Prices New $7 Billion 10-year Reference Notes Security

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Freddie Mac (OTC: FMCC) announced today that it priced its new 2.375% $7 billion 10-year USD Reference NotesĀ® security due on January 13, 2022.  The issue, CUSIP number 3137EADB2, was priced at 99.418 to yield 2.441%, or 52 basis points more than 10-year U.S. Treasury Notes.  The issue will settle on Friday, January 13, 2012.

The new 10-year Reference Notes security was offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital, Citigroup Global Markets and UBS Securities.  An application was made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
