Freddie Mac Announces the Issuance of a New 10-year Reference Notes? Security

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Freddie Mac (OTC: FMCC) announced today that it plans to issue a new 10-year USD Reference Notes® security, CUSIP number 3137EADB2, due on January 13, 2022.  The issue will be priced on Thursday, January 12, 2012, and will settle on Friday, January 13, 2012, at benchmark size.

The new 10-year Reference Notes security will be offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital, Citigroup Global Markets and UBS Securities.  An application will be made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
