PORTLAND, Ore.--([ ])--The Board of Directors of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. (aStanCorpa) (NYSE:SFG) yesterday declared an annual cash dividend on its common shares of $0.89 per share, payable December 9, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2011. The annual cash dividend of $0.89 per share represents a 3.5% increase over last yearas dividend of $0.86 per share.
