First Marblehead to Release First Quarter Fiscal 2012 Financial Results and Host Conference Call

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Oct 28, 2011) - The First Marblehead Corporation (NYSE: [ FMD ]) plans to release its financial and operating results for the three-month period ended September 30, 2011 after the market closes on Thursday, November 3, 2011. The Company will host a conference call at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, November 3, 2011 to discuss its results. First Marblehead's Chairman and CEO Daniel Meyers and Chief Financial Officer Ken Klipper will host the call.
