PHILADELPHIA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Atlas Energy, L.P. (NYSE: ATLS) announces today that it has declared a quarterly distribution for the third quarter 2011 of $0.24 per common unit. The third quarter distribution of $0.24 per common unit represents a $0.02 increase, or 9%, over the second quarter 2011 distribution of $0.22, and reflects a distribution coverage ratio of approximately 1.6x. The distribution is payable Friday, November 18, 2011 to holders of record as of Monday, November 7, 2011.
