CIBC actively supports programs such as Career Bridge, which allow skilled newcomers to Canada to gain valuable work experience leading to employment; and ACCES Employment, which helps newcomers start or resume their careers in Canada by providing them with advice on resumes, communication and interview techniques. - Online recruitment website. CIBC now includes a dedicated section on its recruitment website where applicants who are new to Canada can find resources and information, such as foreign credentials assessment, language training and mentoring. - Removing employment barriers. CIBC partners with World Education Services (WES), a not-for-profit credential evaluation service to bring down barriers to employment for newcomers to Canada. WES works to integrate internationally trained professionals by determining the Canadian equivalency of their credentials.
