Candax Provides Update on Debt Restructuring Plan

Candax Energy Inc. ("Candax") (TSX:CAX) announces that further to its press release of January 21, 2011 wherein the Company indicated that it expected the Debt Restructuring Plan (announced in its press releases of December 14 and December 24, 2010) to be finalized by the end of January, to allow for the address of certain administrative matters, the Company now expects the final documentation to be completed no later than mid-February. Candax will make a further announcement on the closing of the restructuring, wherein it will provide further details of the finalized terms, including the number of new common shares of Candax issued at the time of closing.
