PHILADELPHIA--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CHMT) will host an Investor Day in New York City, at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, 811 7th Avenue, on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 starting at 1 p.m. EST.

Key members of Chemturaa™s senior management and business leaders will discuss the company's strategy, plans for growth and the companya™s innovation initiatives. There will be specific presentations on a number of Chemturaa™s businesses from the Industrial Engineered products and the Industrial Performance products segments.

As the company will not have yet released its 2010 fourth quarter and full-year earnings, the company will not discuss financial performance for those periods at the meeting nor respond to questions on these matters. The companya™s 2010 fourth quarter and full-year earnings will be released after the market closes on Monday, March 7 followed by an investor conference call to be held on Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
