COLUMBUS, Ohio--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Glimcher Realty Trust (NYSE: GRT) announced the promotion of Thomas J. Drought, to the position of Executive Vice President, Director of Leasing. In this pivotal role, TJ, as he prefers to be called will continue providing leadership to our leasing team as well as the entire company. Previously, TJ was Senior Vice President, Director of Leasing.

TJ began his career with Glimcher in 1997 as Regional Leasing Director. In 2000, he assumed the title Vice President of Leasing and he was named Senior Vice President, Director of Leasing in 2002. TJ has played a critical role in the development of our key assets which has contributed to enhancing the quality of our mall portfolio while also directing the leasing policies and strategies of the company. In his new role, TJ will continue to direct, motivate and develop our leasing talent while focusing on improving systems, processes and other strategic business planning. TJ graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration; he also is a Certified Leasing Specialist.
