KBW Announces Senior Hires in Real Estate Investment Banking
NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--KBW, Inc. (NYSE: KBW), a full service investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector, is expanding its real estate business with the addition of two key senior hires in its Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Andrew Dietz has joined the firm as Managing Director and Simon Leopold will arrive as Managing Director in January, both reporting directly to Michael Errichetti, Head of KBWa™s Real Estate Investment Banking Group in New York.

Simon Leopold comes to KBW as a Managing Director after nearly 12 years at Deutsche Bank as a Managing Director in its Real Estate Investment Banking Group. At KBW, he will be responsible for further developing and strengthening the firm's REIT and private real estate client relationships in the United States. Mr. Leopold holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and an MBA from Yale University's School of Management. He will join the firm in January.
Andrew Dietz has joined KBW as a Managing Director in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group and is responsible for the firma™s Real Estate Private Equity Placement business. Prior to KBW, he was a founder and senior member of Eastdil Secureda™s Private Equity Capital raising team, completing over $10 billion of equity raises for significant private and public real estate clients including Cargill, Prologis, Regency, Douglas Emmett and Avalon Bay. Mr. Dietz is a graduate of Yale Universitya™s School of Management and completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations at Brandeis University.
