ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - November 2, 2009) - Freedom Environmental Services (PINKSHEETS: [ FRDM ]) was chosen to service and repair each lift station on The University of Central Florida campus. UCF, the largest college in the State of Florida and 6th largest in the nation, is dependent upon each of its 10 lift stations to run effectively 24 hours per day in order to withstand the growing population on its campus. According to UCF's own General Infrastructure Element Data and Analysis report, by 2010 the projected water demand based on student population will be 816,000 gallons per day. Due to such a high demand, each lift station will need its respective 2 pumps per station tested, pulled and analyzed to ensure efficiency and functionality. During this annual procedure, pumps may need to be upgraded, repaired or replaced. The cost of merely maintaining these lift stations will approach $500,000 over a 5 year period. Freedom Environmental Services will be responsible to perform any and all actions necessary to ensure UCF is up to code by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Our management believes, but cannot guarantee, that this agreement will be the catalyst to start Freedom Environmental Services establishing future partnerships within the public and private education system.
