Skyline Gold Corporation: Skyline Announces Initiation of Drill Program at Bronson Slope

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 7, 2009) - Skyline Gold Corporation ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE:SK), a company engaged in the exploration and development of its Bronson Slope mining property in north western British Columbia's 'Golden Triangle', is pleased to announce that it is initiating a 600 m drilling program to explore the Snip-1 claim (tenure # 523348) both in the vicinity of and underneath drill holes 911, 917, 918, and 919 which were drilled on Snip-1 in 1988. Raw assay data from drill core for these holes is posted on Skyline Gold's website.

The drilling location is approximately 900 m on strike and south east from the nearest Bronson Slope deposit drill hole. The acquisition of Snip-1 was announced in a news release by the Company on December 4, 2008 and the news release also contains assay composite data for the 4 drill holes noted above.

The drilling project is being managed by Equity Exploration Consultants Ltd. of Vancouver and the project manager is Murray Jones, P.Geo.
