CBL & Associates Properties Announces Executive Promotions

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. (NYSE: CBL) today announced the promotions of Alan Lebovitz to Senior Vice President – Asset Management, Maggie Carrington to Vice President – Human Resources and Katie Reinsmidt to Vice President – Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.

Commenting on the promotions, CBL's President, Stephen Lebovitz said, "These individuals have established themselves as leaders within CBL in their respective fields and within the shopping center industry. We are pleased to recognize their accomplishments and significant contributions to the Company with these promotions."

Alan Lebovitz joined CBL in 1995 and most recently served as Vice President – Asset Management. He is responsible for strategic planning and growth initiatives for the Company's portfolio of 87 market dominant regional malls and open-air centers. Mr. Lebovitz also oversees the Company's third party management arm and the corporate relations division. During Alan's nearly fifteen year career at CBL he has held positions in property management, development and leasing. His previous work experience includes real estate asset management training with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York as well as retail demographic analysis in Chicago, Illinois. Alan is the immediate past president of the B'nai Zion Congregation, a Leadership Chattanooga alum and is a member of the Board of the United Way of Greater Chattanooga.

Lebovitz added, "Alan is responsible for identifying and unlocking the significant value that is embedded within our existing property portfolio. His creative ideas and unique ability to cohesively mobilize each department in the organization towards a collective goal has garnered considerable quantifiable results. Maggie Carrington joined CBL in February 1999 as Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for managing the Company's employee programs including development and training, education and other key human resource initiatives for home office, regional offices and field employees. Ms. Carrington began her more than twenty year career in human resources in 1986 as a human resources manager for Cerion, Inc. and just prior to joining CBL served as human resources manager with the Chattanooga Group, Inc. Maggie has achieved Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She serves on the Board of WTCI and is a past chair of the Tennessee Safety & Health Council.

Katie Reinsmidt most recently held the position of Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for CBL. She oversees all investor and financial communication efforts as well as corporate media relations. Prior to joining CBL, Ms. Reinsmidt was an Associate Analyst for A.G. Edwards & Sons at its corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO, where she provided research coverage for retail, healthcare and lodging REITs. Ms. Reinsmidt also serves as a trustee on the City of Chattanooga Pension Board.
