DENVER--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--C-Lock Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE Arca: EEE), in concert with IBM and Enterprise Information Management Inc. (EIM), will exhibit its patented GreenCert™ greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement and carbon information management software in booth #707 at the 12th annual [ Energy and Environment Conference ] (EUEC) at the Phoenix Convention Center February 1-4.

C-Lock™ President Jim Bitonti will deliver a presentation entitled "Closing the Loop – From Power Plants to Agriculture to Sequestration" as part of the carbon sequestration track on Tuesday, February 3 at 2:40 p.m. Bitonti will describe how GreenCert stands as an innovative tool for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions from the power sector using the natural carbon sink capabilities found in agriculture.

Held annually in Phoenix since 1995, EUEC has grown to an expected 2000 attendees this year. It is the nation's largest energy and environment conference and is organized under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Energy, the Edison Electric Institute, the Electric Power Research Institute and C TRADE, a global renewable energy project development company.

The four-day conference will offer hundreds of sessions across dozens of topic area tracks that include U.S. climate policy, Kyoto and carbon markets, verified emissions reduction credits, carbon capture and storage, GHG inventories, carbon risks and costs, GHG standards, and GHG corporate strategies, among many others.
