Cillian Murphy is coming back to the "28 Days Later" franchise though his return will have to wait. In new interviews with Business Insider and IGN, director Danny Boyle says that Murphy, who starred in the original "28 Days Later" in 2002, does not appear in the upcoming "28 Years Later." But he will feature
Cillian Murphy, known for his role in "Peaky Blinders," will not be appearing in the upcoming film "28 Years Later," the sequel to "28 Days Later," despite expressing interest in reprising his role as Jim. The actor, who has been busy with other projects including "Oppenheimer," mentioned in an interview that he has not been approached for the new film. "28 Years Later" is set to be directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, the same team behind the original film, and is slated for release in 2024.
