Froda, a Swedish fintech startup, has raised $23 million in a Series B funding round led by Incore Invest, with participation from existing investors such as Schibsted and the European Investment Fund. The company, which provides a debt financing platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), plans to use the new capital to expand its operations across Europe, enhance its technology, and develop new products. Froda's platform connects SMEs with a network of banks and investors, enabling them to access loans quickly and efficiently. Since its inception in 2018, Froda has facilitated over €1 billion in loans to more than 10,000 businesses, demonstrating the growing demand for alternative financing solutions among SMEs.
