  Since the Trump Administration first announced sweeping tariffs, we've heard from small business owners about the impacts they could face; now the White House is trying to temper those concerns with the help of the head of the Small Business Administration.


On June 18, 2025, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) visited Wilmington, North Carolina, to engage with local small businesses and discuss the support and resources available to them. The visit included stops at various businesses where SBA representatives met with owners to understand their challenges and needs. The SBA emphasized its commitment to fostering small business growth through loans, grants, and counseling services. Local business owners expressed appreciation for the SBA's efforts and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in helping them navigate economic challenges and expand their operations.
