The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation (MoHESR) and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to align the UAE Scholarship Programme with the country's strategic priorities. This collaboration aims to enhance the skills of Emirati students in fields critical to national development, such as renewable energy, water, and sustainability. The agreement was signed by Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Higher Education and Scientific Research Sector at MoHESR, and Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA. The initiative will provide scholarships for studies both within the UAE and abroad, focusing on areas that support the UAE's vision for a knowledge-based economy and sustainable development. This partnership is part of a broader effort to prepare a competent national workforce capable of contributing to the UAE's future economic and environmental goals.
