Foreign investments in Israel picked up in the first half of 2024, even as the country was engulfed in a multifront war in Gaza and Lebanon and traded direct fire with Iran.


In 2024, foreign investments in Israel saw a significant increase, reaching $13.8 billion, up from $10.8 billion the previous year, according to the Israeli government. This surge was attributed to a combination of factors including Israel's robust economic performance, technological advancements, and strategic government incentives aimed at attracting overseas capital. The sectors that experienced the most substantial growth in foreign investment included high-tech, renewable energy, and real estate. Despite regional geopolitical tensions, the government's efforts to stabilize the investment climate and promote Israel as a safe and profitable destination for international investors have evidently paid off, with notable investments coming from the United States, Europe, and Asia.
