Fortegra Financial Delays Fourth Quarter 2012 and Full Year 2012 Earnings Release and Conference Call

JACKSONVILLE, FL--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2013) - Fortegra Financial Corporation (NYSE: [ FRF ]) today announced it will delay its earnings release and conference call for the fourth quarter and full year ended 2012, which had previously been scheduled for March 11th and 12th, respectively. Management noted the delay is intended to allow the Company additional time to properly account for certain accruals for the fourth quarter of 2012 and to obtain review by its independent accounting firm and audit committee. The delay is caused by the unexpected medical leave of a key accounting officer responsible for the financial operations of the related business unit.

The company will issue a subsequent announcement regarding the new date and time of its earnings release and conference call. Management anticipates filing its 2012 Annual Report on Form 10-K on or before the filing deadline of April 1, 2013 and releasing its earnings prior to such filing.
