SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 12, 2012) - Medistem Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ MEDS ]) announced today it has been chosen by the Romanian Cultural Association to give a keynote talk at its annual gathering in Hamilton, Canada.

The meeting, which is a week-long celebration of Romanian cultural and scientific accomplishments, has featured Romanian luminaries including former Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ciorbea, Minister of Romanian Culture and Art Ion Caramitru, and History of Religion Scholar Mircea Eliade as keynote speakers.

Medistem's CEO, Thomas Ichim, will present his work in Romanian, in a talk entitled "Endometrial Regenerative Cells: A Journey from Discovery to Patients."
