REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - June 5, 2012) - On Thursday, June 7th, BMO employees in Regina will put on their aprons to dish out hot meals to the clients of the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

The Souls Harbour Rescue Mission assists residents of Regina who are suffering from poverty and addiction with services such as food and shelter, recovery programs and emergency help.

The event is part of the first North America-wide BMO Volunteer Day, with 6,500 employees across Canada and the U.S. rolling up their sleeves to give back.

"This project goes beyond serving a meal - it's a part of something larger that enables BMO to give back to the people of Regina," said Mike Darling, District Vice-President, Saskatchewan, BMO Bank of Montreal.
