Eaton Vance Appoints Michael T. Dirstine, CFA, CAIA as Vice President, Institutional Business Development
BOSTON, June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: [ EV ]) announced today that Michael T. Dirstine has joined Eaton Vance as Vice President, Institutional Business Development, responsible for identifying and developing relationships with corporate and select public pension plans, endowments, foundations and other institutional investors. Mr. Dirstine is based in Boston and covers the Southeast territory. He reports to Michael Kotarski, Co-Director of Institutional Business Development.

Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Mr. Dirstine served as Vice President, Institutional Sales for State Street Global Advisors. During his tenure at SSgA, he was one of the firm's top producers and cultivated and strengthened key relationships to expand the firm's presence in the Southeast. Prior to joining SSgA in 2005, Mr. Dirstine held Senior Vice President positions at both State Street Research & Management and Putnam Investments. Mr. Dirstine holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts and an MS from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst and CAIA designations and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, CFA Institute and CAIA Association. Mr. Dirstine holds the FINRA series 3, 6, 7, 26 and 63 licenses.
