Martina Minerals Corp. Retains MI3 for Investor Relations

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 21, 2011) - Martina Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MTN) (the "Company") announced today that it has retained MI3 Communications Financieres Inc. ("MI3") to provide investor relations and corporate communications services for the Company. MI3 has been retained for period of one year and will be responsible for the dissemination of corporate data packages, broker presentations and communications, analyst communications and handling of shareholder enquiries regarding the Company and its advanced exploration-stage gold project in the southern Philippines. MI3 will receive $3,000 (plus HST) per month in remuneration and will be reimbursed for approved expenses. The Company will also grant MI3 options to acquire 200,000 common shares in the capital of the Company at an exercise price of $0.10 per share. The agreement with MI3 and corresponding option grant remain subject to customary filings with and approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.

MI3 is a new age financial communication company geared for today's fast paced global economy. Based in Montréal, Québec, the services MI3 provides were developed to leverage the trading and market experience of their bilingual team to provide public relations and investor relations to Canadian public companies.

The Company also announced that it has granted a total of 3,950,000 additional stock options to a number of its directors, officers and consultants. Each option is exercisable into one common share within a period of five years from the date of grant at an exercise price of $0.10.
