AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - Dec 13, 2011) - LBi International N.V. (EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: [ LBI ]), the world's largest independent marketing and technology agency with offices in 16 countries, today announces that Ms Nazo Moosa, representing LBi Class A Shareholder The Carlyle Group (Carlyle), has resigned as member of LBi's Supervisory Board since she has left Carlyle.

Carlyle wishes to appoint Dr Robert Easton in place of Ms Moosa as member of the Supervisory Board as per 12 December 2011 in accordance with article 22.2 of LBi's articles of association. Dr Easton is a global partner of The Carlyle Group and co-heads Carlyle Europe Technology Partners, the firms' EUR 520 million European growth capital fund. During his 11 years tenure at Carlyle, he has had multiple Board memberships of Carlyle portfolio companies and been responsible for investments in a wide variety of sectors, including technology. In addition, in 2012, Dr Easton will be Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association, the UK's private equity trade association.
