This is the 21st year for SEPTAas annual holiday tradition, which attracts hundreds of families who ride Regional Rail and subway trains into Center City in time for a parade through the Gallery at Market East. The parade, which begins at 11 a.m. on Nov. 25, is led by Santa, Mrs. Claus and their helpers.

Constellation Energy launched its residential electric choice offer in the Greater Philadelphia region this summer with direct mail to 650,000 homeowners and renters in the PECO service territory. On Santa Express trains, Santaas helpers will spread goodwill to passengers by giving children goodie bags. The trains will be full of onboard fun, including magicians, face painters, costumed characters and Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Passengers taking part in the 2011 Santa Express festivities on Friday, Nov. 25, will be able to board select trains on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street lines at 10 a.m. for their chance to be a part of the Santa Express. Passengers riding on these lines will pay the regular fare before boarding the trains, but will be reimbursed for the ride into the Mall once on board with a token affixed to a Constellation Energy postcard distributed by SEPTA. Passengers riding Santa Express trains on the Warminster and Media/Elwyn Regional Rail lines will simply board for free at 9:41 a.m. Santa himself will ride in on the Bridge Street train.
