Prudential Financial To Expand Third Quarter 2010 Conference Call

NEWARK, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--As previously announced, Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU) will release its third quarter 2010 earnings on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, after the market closes. The earnings news release and the financial supplement will be posted on the company's Investor Relations Web site at: [ http://www.investor.prudential.com ].

Members of Prudential's senior management will host a conference call on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. ET, to discuss with the investment community the company's third quarter results. In light of the companya™s recent announcement that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AIG Star Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and AIG Edison Life Insurance Company from American International Group, Inc., senior management will also comment on the companya™s financial outlook for 2011 and beyond. As a result, the company will not conduct the previously announced Investor Day event which was scheduled to take place in New York City on December 9, 2010.
