WHEATON, Ill.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--First Trust Dow Jones STOXX® European Select Dividend Index Fund (NYSE Arca: FDD) (the aFunda), an exchange-traded index fund and series of First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund II (the aTrusta), announces that its Board of Trustees has approved a name change for the Fund to aFirst Trust STOXX® European Select Dividend Index Fund.a The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Funda™s fees and expenses) of an equity index called the STOXX® Europe Select Dividend 30 Index (the aIndexa). Effective March 1, 2010, the Index provider changed the name of the Funda™s underlying Index from the aDow Jones STOXX® Select Dividend 30 Indexa to the aSTOXX® Europe Select Dividend 30 Index.a The Index name change and the Funda™s name change have had no effect on the investment strategies or risks of the Fund or the index construction or methodology.
