CommonWealth REIT Announces Quarterly Common and Preferred Dividends

NEWTON, Mass.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--CommonWealth REIT (NYSE: CWH) today announced its quarterly common and preferred dividends. On June 15, 2010, the company announced a name change from HRPT Properties Trust to CommonWealth REIT, a ticker change from HRP to CWH, a 1-for-4 reverse stock split, and an increase in its quarterly common dividend per share. CWHa™s quarterly common and preferred dividends are as follows:

Common Dividends
A common dividend of $0.50 per Common Share will be paid with respect to the results of operations for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, to holders of record of Common Shares as of the close of business on July 26, 2010, and will be distributed on or about August 25, 2010.

Series B Preferred Dividends
A distribution of $0.5469 per Series B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Share will be paid on or about August 16, 2010, to holders of record of Series B Preferred Shares at the close of business on August 1, 2010.

Series C Preferred Dividends
A distribution of $0.4453 per Series C Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Share will be paid on or about August 16, 2010, to holders of record of Series C Preferred Shares at the close of business on August 1, 2010.

Series D Preferred Dividends
A distribution of $0.4063 per Series D Cumulative Convertible Preferred Share will be paid on or about August 16, 2010, to holders of record of Series D Preferred Shares at the close of business on August 1, 2010.
