    • Steve Wynn, a billionaire developer of a luxury casino empire, has consistently denied sexual misconduct allegations.

Steve Wynn, the former casino mogul, has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to revive his defamation lawsuit against The Associated Press, following a ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that dismissed his case. The lawsuit stems from a 2018 AP article that reported allegations of Wynn's sexual misconduct, which he claims were false and defamatory. The 9th Circuit upheld the dismissal, citing Nevada's anti-SLAPP law, which protects free speech and aims to prevent lawsuits intended to intimidate or silence critics.
