GARDNERVILLE, NV--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) - Brazilian Mining Corporation (PINKSHEETS: [ BRZM ]) -- Terrax, Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Brazilian Mining Corporation, announces its entrance into the uniform authentication market. In response to strong market demand, along with a partnership with public and private sector security officials, Terrax successfully completed testing and full demonstration of its uniform and vehicle authentication capability. The test was 100% successful in detecting fake, stolen, and/or counterfeit uniforms or vehicles from a standoff distance. Terrax's participation into this market comes as a result of extending the functionality of the Theia System to include the ability to detect stolen and counterfeit security, police, or military uniforms from a distance.

Over the past several months senior police and government security officials have urgently requested Terrax's support in resolving uniform authentication problems, which have become a significant threat to security operations worldwide. A large percentage of all terrorist attacks in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan utilize stolen uniforms to bypass security checkpoints. The Terrax system goes to the core of solving this problem and ensuring that security personnel can detect fake or counterfeit uniforms from a safe distance.

In sensitive discussions with Terrax, senior government and private sector security experts estimate the immediate market needs for the Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan areas of operation to be in excess of 125 million USD. According to senior US military officials and senior private sector security officials operating in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, over 80% of all significant terrorist attacks utilize fake or counterfeit uniforms and vehicles to bypass security checkpoints and screening processes. Murray Owen, president of Terrax, stated that, "the added value of the uniform and vehicle authentication feature was developed as a result of strong demand from our private and public sector partners. The Theia system will eliminate the ability of terrorist to use counterfeit uniforms and vehicles to bypass security protocols. In addition it significantly expands the demand for the Theia System."
