Amseco Exploration Ltd.: Annual and Special Meeting of the Shareholders and Nomination of an Additional Director

MONTREAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - June 18, 2010) - Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AEL) ("Amseco") will hold its Annual and Special Meeting of the Shareholders on July 15, 2010, at 10 :00 AM, at the Montreal Intercontinental Hotel.

The Agenda of the meeting is as follows

Election of the directors ;

Presentation of the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended on December 31, 2009 ;

Nomination of the Auditors Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, LLP, for the current year ;

Amendements to the Option Program :

-Amendement to the number of shares reserved for issuance under the Option program to five million (5,000,000) from three million four hundred thousand (3,400,000), being less than 15% of the issued and outstanding shares;

-That options granted in the future will immediately vest to the grantee;

-Change in the duration of options to be granted in the future from five (5) years to ten (10) years.

The amendements to the Option Program must be adopted by a majority of the desinterested shareholders. Anyone who holds Amseco options cannot vote on these amendments.

The Corporation presents for election as a Director Mrs. Line Plante, P. Eng., as fifth Director. The Board currently has four Directors.

Mrs. Line Plante, P. Eng., (1993), MBA (2008), works in the mining and quarry industries. Since starting work in 1993, she has been: VP Maintenance, Application Engineer-Crushing and Screening, Project Leader and Sales Director. She was also a Director of the « Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec » (Quebec « Order of the Engineers ») from June 2007 to November 2009. She started her carreer with R. Blais & fils, a heavy contracting company based in Abitibi-Témiscamingue where she worked until the end of 2000. Some of the major mining projects she worked on were: Magnola (Asbestos), Troilus (Chibougamau), Agnico-Eagle Laronde division (Preissac), and a number of others. She has been with Metso Minerals Canada since January 2001, where she is VP Maintenance-Services, in charge of a global support team that develops and implements maintenance procedures, inspection lists, bid preparations and submissions as well as contract management for the various regions where Metso operates internationally.

The Board will grant to Mrs. Plante two hundred thousand (200,000) share purchase options whose exercice price will be determined in accordance with the public price of Amseco's shares as of the date of the AGM.
