


DWS Dreman Value Income Edge Fund, Inc. Announces Preliminary Results of the Annual Meeting of Stockholders
NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Board of Directors of DWS Dreman Value Income Edge Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DHG), (the aFunda) announced today that the 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of the Fund was held on May 24, 2010 (the aAnnual Meetinga). Preliminary results indicate that a quorum was present but none of the nominees received a sufficient number of votes to be elected as a director. Therefore the incumbent Directors will continue as Class III Directors until such time as successors are elected and qualify. The precatory stockholder proposal requesting that the Board take the necessary steps to declassify the Board was approved by a majority of votes cast at the meeting.
The Fund will announce final results once such results are certified by the Independent Inspector of Election.
