Safeguarda?s SGI Unit Announces Special Event Services with Glass House
DALLAS--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC:[ SSHS ]), a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announces that its SGI Protective Services Division ([ www.sgi-us.com ]), has signed on Glass House ([ www.glasshousedallas.com/home.asp ]) of Dallas and is providing security staffing services for special events for the luxury apartment community.
"We have been requested to survey several properties in the Uptown area of Dallas to begin a patrol response service, and we are working on a plan now that will enhance our coverage there."
Shelly Anderson, Vice President of Operations, SGI, stated, "We are pleased that the Glass House management team has chosen SGI Protective Services to provide their security detail for special events. Glass House is a high profile apartment property in the Uptown area and the safety and security of their tenants and guests is the utmost importance to them." Anderson added, "We have been requested to survey several properties in the Uptown area of Dallas to begin a patrol response service, and we are working on a plan now that will enhance our coverage there."
R. Michael Lagow, CEO for Safeguard, said, "SGI continues to grow its book of business by providing ‘value add' services to its clients. We see a significant increase in business in the downtown area of Dallas, including the new Uptown community. Within walking distance from Uptown is the new Arts District, and it is nearing completion. Residents of this area will be attending events there and many will be walking from their nearby Uptown residences to these events. Their safety becomes a major concern to Uptown's building owners and managers. As we continue to expand SGI into these verticals, we adjust our projected revenue stream upward. We anticipate our growth in this market will yield an additional $150,000.00 per quarter to our 2010 revenue numbers for SGI. With the new monitoring center coming on line in January, and being able to provide live video monitoring services with patrol response, we see SGI in a unique position to gain supplemental business through that (business) model, which adds additional profits to our bottom line."
