VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 8, 2009) - Galore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GRI) announces the expansion of its Dos Santos property in northern Zacatecas State, Mexico. Three new claims acquired by staking have increased the Dos Santos property by 720 hectares and it now covers 14,806 hectares. The expanded property extends for 25 km in a north- south direction, from the northern claim boundary of Canplats Resources' Camino Rojo gold-silver- lead-zinc discovery.
The new claims cover areas of similar geology to the San Jose epithermal gold target and are prospective for a gold discovery. The property has excellent infrastructure, with highway 54 and a high-voltage power line crossing the property in a north-south direction.
Goldcorp's Penasquito mine and its recent take-over of Canplats has increased the interest in the Concepcion del Oro mining district. "We are pleased that the workforce in our Mexico-based office was able to locate and stake such favorable ground and will continue to seek opportunities to grow our property base in this active gold mining district.
