Bebida Beverages Enjoys National Exposure With Park in Talladega

MOORESVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - November 2, 2009) - The weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck event at the Talladega Super Speedway was a bittersweet success for Bebida Beverage Company (PINKSHEETS: [ BBDA ]) and their Koma Unwind brand. The #02 Koma Unwind Corrie Stott racing Chevy ran in the top 20 for the majority of the day, but with 22 laps remaining the engine expired, ending the team's efforts for the weekend. From a marketing standpoint the weekend was rather successful. The Koma Unwind brand received outstanding media coverage with Steve Park behind the wheel. Park has had a successful career in NASCAR that began with him being handpicked by the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. to drive for his team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (the Busch series).

The Koma Unwind truck was featured on the Speed Channel "spotlight" before the race began, and was televised several times during the race. With Park losing a lap and then regaining it under caution as the "lucky dog" 3 times throughout the race the Koma Unwind Chevy was shown on television several times. This amount of air time for the brand name surpassed any type of national exposure that could have been achieved without the lofty cost of a standard television spot.

Although Park's efforts came to a halt with 22 laps remaining when the engine expired, the team had a solid weekend. "From a racing aspect we would have liked for the engine to stay together for another 16 laps, the crew did a great job improving the truck throughout the day and with a little bit of luck we could have come home with a top 15 finish," stated CEO Brian Weber. "On the bright side, our Koma Unwind brand received a tremendous amount of coverage, which is yet another great step forward in our marketing and branding effort. Building brand recognition is a giant part of this industry, and we are certainly on the right path to significantly establishing our company's place in the industry, and in turn, raising shareholder value."
