Johnson, a former executive at Florida East Coast Railway; Maria Elena (Mari) Prio, with a background in real estate and transportation; and Phillip “PJ” Watson, who has worked in various capacities in transportation and logistics. These appointments are part of DeSantis' ongoing efforts to enhance Florida's transportation infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, safety, and economic development. The FTC is responsible for advising the Florida Department of Transportation and overseeing the state's transportation policies and investments.
