  • The sale of Shrewsbury-based Wildes Plant Hire & AT Wilde & Son has been confirmed. Accountants Azets advised on the sale of the business to Zofre Investments Limited. The acquisition will see the company continue under the existing trading names, with Peter Venn at the helm but both David and Peter Wilde still involved in the business.

The Shropshire Star reported on December 5, 2024, that a deal has been finalized for the acquisition of a well-established Shrewsbury firm, Morris Lubricants, by UK Fuels.
