Woman accused of stealing business vehicle in Perry

  PERRY — A woman was charged Saturday after a vehicle was taken from an area resident.

A woman from Perry, New York, identified as 34-year-old Amanda L. Conklin, was arrested for allegedly stealing a business vehicle from Perry Veterinary Clinic on December 23. Conklin, who was previously employed at the clinic, reportedly took the vehicle, a 2016 Ford Transit van, after her employment ended. The van was later found abandoned in Pavilion, and Conklin was charged with third-degree grand larceny. She was arraigned in Perry Village Court and released on her own recognizance, with a future court date set for January 17.
