Boohoo, a UK-based online fashion retailer, has undergone a significant rebranding to become Debenhams Group, reflecting its acquisition of the Debenhams brand in 2021. This strategic move aims to leverage the established name of Debenhams to enhance its market presence. Alongside the rebranding, Boohoo has appointed Stephen Morana as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Morana, who previously served as CFO at Betfair and Zoopla, replaces Shaun McCabe, who will remain with the company until the end of January 2024 to ensure a smooth transition. This leadership change and rebranding are part of Boohoo's broader strategy to consolidate its position in the competitive online retail sector.
