  • Raimond Molenje has been appointed CEO of the Kenya Bankers Association, effective December 1, 2024, bringing over 19 years of leadership and legal expertise.

Raimond Molenje has been appointed as the new CEO of the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA), effective from December 2024. He will succeed Dr. Habil Olaka, who has been at the helm since 2014. Molenje brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including serving as the Managing Director at KCB Bank Kenya and as the CEO of KCB Tanzania. His appointment comes at a time when the banking sector is navigating through significant changes, including digital transformation and regulatory adjustments. The KBA, which represents over 40 banks in Kenya, aims to leverage Molenje's expertise to enhance its advocacy, policy development, and member services.
