PLEASANT HILL, Calif., March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Genworth Financial Wealth Management (GFWM), a subsidiary of Genworth Financial (NYSE: [ GNW ]), announced today that it has incorporated electronic signature capabilities from DocuSign® into its platform, which is used by independent financial advisors for investment management and other services.

Electronic signature technology is now available for requests and changes to existing accounts, providing anywhere, anytime convenience to financial advisors and their clients. New accounts capability will be added later in 2013. Signing documents electronically will contribute significantly to the "paperless office" because it can be done entirely online and from anywhere. The firm expects to eliminate thousands of faxes and printouts per year and looks at the enhancements as a green initiative for advisors as well.
