SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 4, 2012) - Heritage Bank of Commerce, the operating bank of Heritage Commerce Corp (NASDAQ: [ HTBK ]), today announced the addition of Andrea Head as Senior Vice President/Real Estate Lending at the Bank's Danville regional office. Andrea will be responsible for relationship management and real estate and construction lending, with a strong emphasis on the East Bay market.

Prior to joining the team at Heritage, Andrea served as Executive Vice President at Summit Bank in Oakland, Senior Managing Director-Relationship Management at First Republic Bank in Walnut Creek and with the Bank of Walnut Creek (Acquired by First Republic Bank) as Executive Vice President, Real Estate Division. Andrea is a long-time Walnut Creek resident with strong ties to the community including support of local education foundations, bond measures and volunteering. Andrea is married with two college-age children.
