BOSTON, Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Investment Counsel (EVIC), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., today announced that Beth S. Milkovits , CFP has joined EVIC as Vice President of Sales & Business Development, responsible for increasing positive asset flows by developing and implementing a sales and marketing strategy targeted to high net worth individuals and families, foundations and endowments as well as consultants and advisors. Ms. Milkovits is based in Boston and will report to David C. McCabe , President of EVIC.

EVIC provides investment counsel services and custom wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, charitable organizations and institutions. As of July 31, 2012 EVIC's 19 investment counselors managed $4.2 billion of client assets.

Prior to joining EVIC, Ms. Milkovits served as Director of Development for The Boston Foundation.  During her tenure there, she was responsible for raising outright gifts to The Boston Foundation from new donors, cultivating the Professional Advisor community to increase the quantity and quality of donor referrals, presenting at Professional Advisory Firms, and managing ongoing relationships with existing Advisors and Professional Advisor groups.

Ms. Milkovits holds a B.A. from Colby College.
