CORAL SPRINGS, FL--(Marketwire - Aug 29, 2012) - Union Dental Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ UDHI ]) -- [ http://www.uniondental.com/ir ] -- a Company that operates and manages a network of dentists throughout the United States for union members, announced today the filing of a European Union Patent (European Patent Application EP12177442.6) for an ozone purified water disinfector to be used in dental operatories. The filing was done on behalf of a newly formed Joint Venture between Union Dental and Drinkable Air. The filing of this patent in the EU community assures protection of the original USA patent filed recently. Under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the JV will have a 30 month window of protection to file its patents worldwide and be protected from the date of its original USA Patent filing which was made on July 12, 2012. As part of the original Distribution Agreement Union Dental will receive a $200 royalty from each unit sold by anyone into the dental market in the USA. As part of the separate JV Agreement to develop the new product recently mentioned and patent filed Union Dental will receive 25% of profits, Dr. George Green will receive 26% and Drinkable Air will receive 49%.

Union Dental recently announced this Joint Venture Agreement with Drinkable Air and the filing of USA Patents to develop ozone based bacteria killing products for the dental industry.
