ST. LOUIS, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Laclede Group, Inc. (NYSE: [ LG ]) is pleased to announce that it will have the special privilege of ringing The Closing Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange at 3:59 pm ET on Thursday, August 30 in celebration of the one year anniversary of Suzanne Sitherwood joining the company. Ms. Sitherwood became president of The Laclede Group, Inc. on September 1, 2011 and was additionally appointed CEO on February 1, 2012.

As president and CEO, Ms. Sitherwood will ring the bell alongside Chairman of the Board William Nasser. They will be joined on the podium by the Board of Directors as well as The Laclede Group, Inc. executives.
