John Angelesco Joins Heritage Bank of Commerce as SVP/Commercial Loan Officer

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 13, 2012) - Heritage Bank of Commerce, the operating bank of Heritage Commerce Corp (NASDAQ: [ HTBK ]), today announced the addition of John Angelesco as the SVP/Commercial Loan Officer at the Bank's San Jose regional office. John will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and developing new business opportunities for the bank.

Prior to joining the team at Heritage, he served as Senior Vice President with Valley Community Bank in San Jose, First Vice President at Comerica Bank's middle market group, and with Bank of the West as a branch manager.

Angelesco is a longtime resident of San Jose who is an avid baseball fan and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Silicon Valley Adult Baseball league. He has also previously served on the Board of the YMCA. John is a graduate of Golden Gate University (MBA) and University of Massachusetts (Amherst).
