BOSTON--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--MFS Investment Management (MFS) announced today that David P. Cole has been named a portfolio manager for MFS InterMarket Income Trust I ("the Fund") (NYSE: CMK), effective December 30, 2011.
William Adams and James Calmas, current managers of the Fund, will continue to manage the Fund with Cole going forward. Cole will continue with his current portfolio management responsibilities as well, managing several high-yield portfolios at MFS.
There is no change to the Fund's investment strategy as a result of Cole's appointment.
