Retrocom Mid-Market REIT Announces New Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2011) -

Retrocom Mid-Market Real Estate Investment Trust (the "REIT") (TSX:RMM.UN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tom Wenner as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 18, 2011.

Most recently, Mr. Wenner was the Chief Financial Officer of Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust. Prior to this, he was Vice President, Finance of Allied Canadian Development Corporation, and also held progressive management positions with The Bank of Nova Scotia and Deloitte. Mr. Wenner obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1991 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
