OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The OGE Energy Corp. (NYSE: [ OGE ]) Board of Directors today named E. Keith Mitchell President and Chief Operating Officer of OGE Enogex Holdings LLC, OGE Energy's midstream natural gas subsidiary.

"As COO of Enogex since 2007, Keith has demonstrated the leadership at Enogex required to continue to build the company during a time of significant growth," said Pete Delaney, Chairman and CEO of OGE Energy, Enogex and OG&E. "We expect the growth at Enogex to accelerate, and we look forward to Keith's continuing steady hand of leadership as president."

Danny Harris, President and COO of OGE Energy, who formerly held the title of President of Enogex, will continue to provide oversight to Enogex through his continued service on the board of Enogex Holdings.

Mitchell joined Enogex in 1994. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
